Personality:

Soren is quiet and intelligent although very friendly. While first impressions may lead to others believing that he is cold with a better-than-thou complex, he is actually kind and thoughtful. He can be a bit rash when he is excited but is fairly calm and calculated in battle. He also has a bad habit of ignoring personal space and rules when he's determined to do something or on a personal mission.

He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his Pokemon team, pampering them with love and care while completely disregarding his own state of being. He has begun developing a growing interest in photography, focusing on Pokemon in the wildlife.

Soren is also terrified of flying, preferring to travel by land or sea, corn mazes and jack-a-lanterns. He'd rather not say why.

History:

Soren lives with his mother, a famous international actress. His parents divorced when he was roughly about 6 years old, with his mother winning full custody. He hasn't seen his father since, only inheriting his jacket and eye color. The Kanto native has traveled the world for as long as he can remember, accompanying his mother to her different movie sets and awards ceremonies. When he was ten, he began sneaking away to train his guard growlithe for Pokemon battles against other trainers and gym leaders.

As he grew older, he began collecting more pokemon to train with and took as many gym challenges as he possibly could while in a region. He has roughly 27 badges but he has never completed a league challenge nor challenged an elite four member to an official fight as he was forced to leave before he could complete a regional challenge.

It was during his mother's golden region awards after party that he was approached with the offer to join the Comet Tail Academy. Sick of being controlled by mother and recognized only by his mother's profession and not his own skills, he accepted immediately, taking his loyal team with him.

His home is located somewhere on the numbered islands just off the coast of Kanto.
